According to Daniel Kodsi (Cod-See), CEO of the real estate development firm Royal Palm Companies, the vibrant Valentine’s Day tower lighting at the Paramount Miami World Center is a heart-pounding digital beacon of love and romance. We all require a little bit of love during these trying times; Moreover, we are delivering a significant portion of it at the Paramount Miami Worldcenter.

Digital Dimensional Details

The words “Happy Valentine’s Day” are illuminated on the Paramount Miami Worldcenter skyscraper.

Kodsi explained that the digital display transforms into an L.E.D. mosaic of enormous kissing lips that cover the 700-foot-tall by 300-foot-wide rooftop crown of Paramount Miami Worldcenter. A flurry of floating hearts appears through the building’s 60-story center column. These hearts transform into white silhouettes of Cupid, the mythical archer-boy GOD of love.

Valentine’s Day History

Valentine’s Day, also known as St. Valentine’s Day, is a holiday celebrated by lovers to show their love for one another by giving gifts and greetings. The Roman festival of Lupercalia, which was celebrated in the middle of February, has been suggested as the source of the holiday because of their similarity.

Fertility rituals and a lottery-based pairing of women and men were part of the festival to mark the start of spring. Lupercalia was banned by Pope Gelasius I at the end of the 5th century. It is sometimes said that he replaced it with St. Valentine’s Day, but the true origin of the holiday is at best hazy. Valentine’s Day didn’t become known as a day to celebrate love until around the 14th century.
