The 14th Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema will take place in Idyllwild, California, from March 7 to 12, 2023, in the picturesque mountaintop village.
The festival’s founder and director, Stephen Savage, executive producer and music video director Trinity Houston, and producer and screenwriter Lesley Peters, who is currently up for 9 Oscars and 14 BAFTA awards for her Netflix Originals film “All Quiet on the Western Front,” own and operate the festival. Savage is an international award-winning film and television director. Additionally, IIFC is home to one of the world’s most prestigious Grand Juries. Anne Archer, an Oscar and Golden Globe nominee, Roger Taylor, a Queen drummer, and Irene Bedard, a Disney Pocahontas actress, are among the group’s members.
The awards ceremony will take place on March 12 at one o’clock at noon. The 2023 lineup will feature 100 films and animations from 12 nations. The historic Rustic Theatre, IIFC’s home theater in downtown Idyllwild, will host an Oscar viewing party.
This event is open to all local filmmakers and the general public at no cost. Ms. Archer will hopefully be able to find time in her busy schedule to return for the event as she has in the past, as Ms. Bedard will be present for the final three days of the festival.
The sister festival of the Idyllwild International Film Festival (IIFC), the Scotland International Film Festival (SIFF), is run by IM3 Global, which also owns and operates the IIFC.
