Corinne Bernatowicz, a student at the 533d Training Squadron at VSFB, CA and a 2LT in the U.S. Space Force Association, officially joined the force in June 2022 through AFROTC at Detachment 730 – University of Pittsburgh. California is where Corinne lives. She is a certified scuba diver and a fan of aerial dance, similar to Cirque du Soleil. She was born at Travis Air Force Base. Lt. Bernatowicz also lifts weights and describes herself as a “health and fitness nerd.”

2LT Bernatowicz joined the Space Force Association (SFA) to learn more about what it means to work in space in such a technologically advanced environment. Additionally, she is looking forward to meeting other Guardians and Space Professionals around the world. She stated that she is aware of the vast amount of information she has yet to acquire and that she believed SFA would accelerate her knowledge gaps.
2LT Bernatowicz is at present the Overseer of Product for the Space Power Association (SFA). SFA is the only independent, 501(c)(3) professional military association that supports the United States Space Force, United States Space Command, the U.S. national spacepower as a whole, as well as the efforts of our international partners and allies in space exploration.
By creating a Space Force that provides credible deterrence in competition, dominant capability in combat, and professional services for all partners, it conducts research, educates, and advocates for superior spacepower.
