Michael Schnabel’s Daddy’s Girl, Armin Lear Press’s most recent book, is a moving tale of a new mother overcoming an 8% chance of survival.
Daddy’s Girl: A Father, His Daughter, and the Deadly Battle She Won
In DADDY’S GIRL: A Father, His Daughter, and the Deadly Battle She Won, Michael Schnabel‘s debut memoir, he tells the powerful story of his daughter’s fight to survive her cancer diagnosis in order to live with her newborn son and the author’s grandson.
How does a young mother overcome the 8% chance that she will live to see her son’s birth? She turns into a hero and gives hope to others. In just fourteen days, 27-year-old Stephanie gave birth to her only child and learned that she has an 8% chance of living. Her motivation to survive is the thought that this baby will only know her through pictures.
This is the story of a family dealing with the most difficult of circumstances, which simultaneously brought joy and sorrow. The story of Stephanie’s father, Michael Schnabel, and how three generations of a family respond to a crisis is told. Stephanie’s bravery is bolstered by the unconditional love and dark brown eyes of her son. Her confidence comes from the conviction that an option that could be more prominent than us gives what we really want, when we really want it. Daddy’s Girl conveys a variety of emotions with humor, love, and even a few miracles!
To help different families confronting a challenge, the creator has delivered a pamphlet entitled Living Through A Crisis: A Guidebook for Loved Ones An eBook for 99 cents USD.
